CSR Follow-up Calls

Has anyone else besides me have dell constantly calling you to tell you, your laptop is being shipped on the est shipping date?

Ive been called 4 times over the weekend. Twice by the same woman.

And should I believe them?

 

No. I had four different CSRs call me to say that my laptop has been cancelled and they would like to resubmit my order. They don't realize that I ordered another computer after I canceled.

 

I read that people have recieved phones calls about delaying their order but not like my situation.

 

The ones who've said they'd call me before never called before I canceled. I'm not sure if what she's saying would be true. What stage does the phone status tell you your computer is in?

 

I last checked about 8 hours ago, it was in the BUILD stage....as the evil robot lady would say.

 

Ah, mine is still in build also. Since the ship date is so close, and nothing has changed, I don't think we'll be getting our lappies with this shipment. Hopefully I'm wrong.

 

I got one phone call - by the annoying-woman-voice. I had to press a button to either agree to or cancel the order. I begrudgingly agreed.

 

Maybe monday is the day that a bunch of stuff gets done that couldnt get done over the weekend....

 

i've had a csr call me once a week to excite me and then tell me that my laptop was still in the build stage and they're doing their best to get it out to me...thank god for boxing stage on saturday.

 

The CSR that called me flat out lied to me. She called me Thursday 8/9 to tell me my 1420 would ship on 8/13, but she also assured me it would definitely ship before then (which would be Friday 8/10?). Of course, here I am today, and when I chatted with a rep they said it would actually be shipping next week because they are out of black, and screens apparently.

 

dell csr called me last friday, got my hopes up a bit and let it slowly kill me knowing i still won't be expecting it soon. so cruel of you dell, putting bags of salt on my wound.

 

I have 2 CSR's calling me this week. one tomorrow and the other sometime this week. I pray that I will get out of building stage soon( for 2 lappys I ordered). (been in build stage since 8/6) .Not that I'm complaining but hopefully it'll be great news for me.

 

Yeah I got the bad news today....delayed from 8/13 to 8/28. Im almost 100% sure Ill get it before then. Ive contemplated calling them and complaining but...I figure Ill just be patient and wait it out. I dont need/want anything for free.
