    CPU speed step

    just bought I9300, i saw in my computer when first time run , CPU run at 2 Ghz. Then i got problem with quickset, everytime i run my game, computer run at 793Ghz, i got pissed off and remove quickset. Now my computer run at 1.99Ghz :confused: . I always run with AC adapter, anychange to turn off speed step and run with full speed all the time? Help me please, thank in advance :)

    Try in Control panel Power management set it to Always on.

    Edit: And 1,99GHz is actually 2,0 GHz. It was just reported in a wrong way.

    I think that's the "standard" way Windows report because on my 1.7GHz, it reported the max at 1.699GHz...

    thx for reply, yah the problem's fixed now ;) off topic question, did ya think I9300 is too big? cant bring it anywhere but my desk :D if i knew 17" that big, i'd like to buy 15" tho :p
