    OK, I have an Inspiron 6000 with a Pentium M 725 that is a socket 478. Now my questions are...

    Is the CPU on this board socketed??
    Will the board accept a Core Duo? How about a P4?

    I don't know what other info you need but just let me know and how to get it, I will get it.

    No it will not. It will only accept another Pentium M which hardly seems worth the effort.
