hello all, i have the rightmark clock utility running and i noticed that my e1505 seems to be throttling back and forth from 997MHz to 1.97GHz. i've set the utility to maximal performance when running on AC. i thought it might have something to do with how the duo handles workloads. after reading this article and hotfix on demand-based switching found here:

    http://support.microsoft.com/?id=896256

i checked the registry and there is a throttle entry with the settings as specified by the article. i'm guessing the clock utility created that. any thoughts on what else may be causing this?

If you use any of the Dell power settings, you will have CPU throttling. Use the Windows power setting and select always on for full CPU speed, or home/laptop for CPU throttling when on battery.
