Anyone who has had their m1330 for a while can comment on whether the brightness of their CCFL screen has decreased over time? If so, by how much?

Why should you even be concerned?

Has the brightness on your laptop decreased?

If so, get Dell to replace it ASAP!

    ^^ Exactly.

All CCFL backlighting gradually decreases in brightness over time. You probably won't notice it unless you compare a one-year-old panel to a new one.
