i have little to no laptop experience as ive always been a desktop user. However, m1330 (and the ccfl screen at that) will be my first laptop, and quite honestly, i dont know what to expect as i do not have prior laptop knowledge nor experience that i can compare to.

So the question is... is CCFL capable is displaying everything clearly? Will CCFL screen be viewable from a respectable angle both horizontally and vertically?

CCFL is just fine, it's just like any other LCD screen out there, well, a laptop screen. It won't be perfect, but none LCD screens are, it's the nature of the technology. LED backlight only improves a little bit on this tech but it has problems of it's own.

The CCFL is adequate and being your first notebook, is a fine choice. Viewing angles differ and resolution plays a large role in the viewing quality but like Zeto said, its basically like another LCD screen.

My toshiba satelitte has a very limited view angle and gets washed out easily but again, the specifics differ my model and brand.
