    "C" key on my 1520 on the fritz...

    The "c" key is only working intermittently. Glad I bought the top o' the line warranty with at-home service.

    I believe you can upgrade you're warranty still? If not return and reorder with the shiny expensive warranty. :p

    Because you really seem like you don't wanna return that thing hahaa..

    OP: You didn't need the top warranty to get a replacement keyboard, I scratched mine with the antenna cables and Dell replace it. And that's straight out 'CONSUMER DAMAGE'... Mine clicks sometimes, might ask for a new one.

    Watch that tech when he comes! I hear they're rough as hell.

    yeah dell will offer to send the part thats easy to fix (like a keyboard) to your house for you to fix yourself if you want whether or not you paid for in home or return to depot warranty.

    Service technician just left my house. The keys on the new keyboard are much stiffer than on the original. They're not bad, just stiffer. Also, on the replacement keyboard there is now about a 1/2 centimeter gap between the backspace and home keys, \ and page up key, and the enter and page down key.
