I'm thinking about getting an e1505/6400. Is there any advantage in buying it through Dell's Small Business section of their website? I know the e1505 and 6400 are the same. Why would anyone purchase the 6400 over the e1505 which is usually cheaper? Is Small Business warranty service better? Do they tend not to include a bunch of bloatware on a Small Business computer?

Not really, they're roughly the same. The incentives are different on the sites and often business clients have special pricing that's not available to the public. It's just about offering specific SKUs to specific target markets. Now, I did remember something about business buyers getting US support rather than Indian, but we've bought a few machines through SB and gotten both.

They do this not only for small business, but individuals that look for the deals. It is just another way of marketing for Dell. Small business is cheaper sometimes with the deals they offer. That is why you should always compare the two. :)

It's not always the same, the "packaging" might be different. The home site tilts a bit more to entertaining options, and the SMB site is tilted more to business use, for example on the home site you can get Windows Media Center Edition, on SMB you can't, and there might be more differences, so you got to keep a sharp eye based on your specific needs.

i bought my dell i6000 through the small business section because they were having a special deal for 1GB RAM, so i guess you should look for the deals.

Dell releases some small business coupons every now and then. I haven't seen any coupons for that series either, but they usually run specials...like upgrades for "free" instead of coupons. :)
