    G'day guys!

Just posting to ask about buying from the Dell AU outlet as my girlfriend needs a new laptop for college!

At the moment i've got my eyes set on a couple of Dell's that are "New" from the Dell outlet, all that i'm concerned about is how good they are?

I've never dealt with Dell before, the only thing is that a friend had a Dell and his laptop died in the last week of warranty.. So they didn't reply to him for that week and replied on the Monday when it had run out..

These laptops have 12 months warranty, so the worst case is she gets it for 12 months. Then has to buy a new one that's better yeah?

A lot of people have bought from the Dell outlet, but I don't know of anyone who has bought from the AU one. From what I hear the Dell Outlet in general is a great place to get refurb units, but make sure you get one that is Certified Refurbished instead of scratch/dent.

Okay then, well i found out a friends dad works at Dell UK or something, he said it was great too. So i shall go for it!

Also here, they units that they sell are mostly "New" which have better prices then some of the refurb units... So it's a win/win situation!
