Here is what I think I am going to buy:

    Jet Black
    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7100 (1.8GHz/800Mhz FSB/2MB cache)
Genuine Windows® Vista Home Premium Edition
High Resolution, glossy widescreen 14.1 inch display (1440x900)
    128MB NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 8400M GS
    1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz
    120GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)
CD / DVD writer (DVD+/-RW Drive)
    Dell Wireless 1505 Wireless-N Mini-card
    Built-in Bluetooth capability (2.0 EDR)
    No Camera
56Whr Lithium Ion Battery (6 cell)
    Integrated High Definition Audio
    3 Year warranty
Price: $1,200 after EPP discount and coupon

I will be getting more RAM after I buy.

Should I keep the 6 cell battery or get a 9 cell? I will bring it to class but shouldn't need more than 3 hours. Is the 6 cell good enough?

    Any other suggestions?

Are there any other discounts I should be aware of?

I actually have a few suggestion is you can fit them within your budget.

I think you should upgrade the processor from the T7100 to the T7300 because it has a 4MB cache. (only if you can fit it in, it will perform better; anything above 2.0, like 2.2 and 2.4, you won't notice much of a difference)

Besides that, it looks great. When you get your laptop be sure to post some nice pics and your thoughts on it!

Thanks, should I keep the 6 cell or upgrade to the 9 cell? Will I be able to get 3 hours with the 6 cell?

Also I am using the Student discount and the $200 rebate. Are there any other deals I can add on?
