    Buying Dell e1705 at Dell site? Dell Chat? Dell telephone? .. What do you recommend to try get the best deal... (best price or any discount).

    Dell site you can use the $400 off coupon (currently available).

    Dell chat I think they are not gonna give you a discount.

    And telephone??


    Any recommendation? I'm probably placing an order today.

    i would order online with a coupon ive heard ordering on the telephone can be a pain in the arse and i ordered mine online and it went perfectly fine :)

    well... I ordered at dell site sunday night, until now I didn't get ANY confirmation e-mail or nothing like that...

    WHAT's the problem with dell?? :mad:

    As soon as you place an order you get an email saying that order has been acknowledged and within next 15-20 hrs. you will get a mail saying your order is confirmed. This new mail will contain your order no. and status. There may be some delays in case something is wrong with the payment method you used, like some issues with Credit Card Billing Address etc..
    Trying calling them up .. and ask for status giving them your Dell login id.. Hope it helps..
