I'm working on building an M1210, and I had a question.

    Is 75 bucks worth it for an upgrade from Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 667 MHz FSB) to a Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7200 (2.00GHz, 4MB L2 Cache, 667 MHz FSB). Will this have any good benefits on battery life?

Also, could anyone comment on the quality of the integrated webcam and if its worth 75 bucks as well?

I personally think T5600 will be fine.

You may also try looking in the DELL outlet--where you may find T7200+webcam without paying the $150 extra :)
(Things from the outlet are of good quality too, also same warranty and return policy)

If it was me the $75 for T7200 is good, more cache and speed.

T7200 is nice upgrade but few people really needs the extra CPU power--a single core of my T5600 is faster than my P4 3.0GHz HT on my HP (on super-pi) and T5600 comes with two of those cores--more than enough CPU power.

You can always underclock and undervolt a T7200 down to 1ghz to save battery life. I don't use the webcam that much, but when I need it on the go I know I have one less thing to pack.
