I suppose there is a bug in 1501 power management.
I just went home after leaving my 1501 for 12 hours at home (using AC line) while it was downloading files from the internet using ADSL connection. To my surprise, it didn't finish the download at all, but it started to resume from where I left it about 12 hours ago.
I have set Hibernate & Standby to "Never", and only set to turn off monitor & harddisk after 20 minutes, assuming it would not have stopped the download process. I suspect the download process got interupted because the Wi-Fi was also stopped when the monitor went off.
I don't think harddisk is the cause though, because the download still needs to write the downloaded data from time to time.

The day before, I also left my 1501 for 6 hours during download, and it kept downloading without a problem. The difference was I didn't set the monitor to turn off at all. Today, I thought setting the monitor to turn off while I was away for 12 hours would be be wise. I assume the download process would still go on without the monitor. Is this normal ? Should I really set the monitor to never sleep while downloading ? Why does it care whether my monitor is On/Off while using Wifi ? Is this a bug in power management ?
    I'm using XP SP2.
