Alt+Left or Right works as well.

I'm gonna try using the old drivers but I'm cramped as it is on the touchpad. I hope losing the upper part of it won't be a killer.

I wish there was a way to reconfigure the horizontal scroll button as a back/forward button
-
was pretty ease actually: google trackpad gestures windows program
(i added "windows program" to avoid mac fanboys pages )

mmisterio try this too:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/39
define back as for example alt-ctrl-mouse_left, and forward as alt-ctrl-mouse_right. it should work with touchpad with no problems.. -
Edit: found it in program files but the app won't run. -
it's a firefox extension.. click on the button install or add to firefox, then configure it using tools->add-ons
-
I was referring to the old drivers in your original post
-
sorry i havent tried that drivers but i downloaded and uncompressed the rar file. there is a setup.exe in it..
-
Thanks for Firefox addon. I looked into it and decided on Firegestures. I highly recommend it. It's sort of the "lite" version of the one you linked to.
