    Hello everybody,
I would like to thank The realfireblade for answering my post in a different forum. It has been impossible for me to answer him directly. The dell forum refuses my password. I worked on that all day today, changing my account three or four times. I thought I had finally managed to create a new one that worked, but no, when I tried to answer Therealfireblade, the forum refused my password. I am not stupid, I had written the right password. I have spent three days now trying to get in touch with somebody at Dell's to know where I can have my little laptop repaired. It is awful.

My laptop (bought in the USA in last May) fell from my bed and got broken. The frame of the screen is broken. The "inside" of the screen is slightly damaged but I can do with it. I just can't take my laptop to go to places like libraries where I work, etc.. and I want it to be repaired. But communicating with Dell people is absolutely awful.

I think I will not recommend Dell any longer. Horrible horrible, I am disgusted and sooooooo sad.

  Why are you not calling Dell directly regarding this vs. the Dell Comm. forum?? If you have Accidental Warranty it should apply to your broken screen, etc.

Your actual warranty will not cover this, only accidental would if you have it!!! And, why blame Dell for a mishap *you* had with your laptop??

Here is a contact number for Dell to call: 1-800-624-9897 (you can also find these numbers at dell.com; Support.

Here is the Contact Number for Dell UK support: 0870 906 0010. You can also initiate a *chat* with a rep on Dell's site(s), meaning US and the UK site.

    Cin.

You broke your notebook and that is Dell's fault because they won't replace it?
