    Hello all,
I've recently tried using the WASAPI component of foobar2000, only to find out there is something broken with the audio card / driver, that I cannot resolve.
The foobar component is using WASAPI in exclusive mode, meaning all other sounds except foobar should be muted, however, not only other sounds are not muted, they even get priority over foobar, so the music is cut off in favor of those sounds (browser flash, for example).
I confirmed it was not a foobar problem, by experiencing the same behavior with the WASAPI component of XMPlay in exclusive mode.
I'm using IDT driver version 6.10.0.6272 (latest version I managed to install unmodded), under windows 7 x64.
The audio card is supposed to be IDT 92HD73C1.
Have anyone else experienced this kind of behavior?
    Thanks in advance, Adam.

Have you tried uninstalling the IDT driver and just load the Windows 7 driver only.

Using the built-in driver will unfortunately not allow me to utilize my 5.1 system, so that's not a solution...
