The brightness on my laptop (Dell Inspiron 15R) dims when there is dark or black page.

So far I have changed these settings to:
    'Power Plan' on 'High Performance'
    'Adjust Plan Brightness' on HIGH
'Enable Adaptive Brightness' is set to OFF.
    and
    unchecked this option. screenshot link

    Thanks

I have this issue too. I've disabled all the power settings and all the ones in intel options as well and yet my screen still dims when there is a dark(er) image and goes bright when there's a lighter image
