Howdy!
I thought I'd just ask because I couldn't find anything pertaining to my question that is recent. So my computer has been as followed:
4/11/10 - Kitting
4/12/10 - Kitting
4/13/10 - Build
4/14/10 - Build
4/15/10 - Build
4/16/10 - Build to Boxing (11PM CST)
4/17/10 - Boxing
4/18/10 - Boxing
4/19/10 - Boxing
How much longer am I looking at for boxing? I know they have to fly this to Nashville and then send it to FedEx but... 5 days? Come on! Any ideas to get a clear ETA from a Dell agent would be great, mine has never had an estimated arrival time and this final stage is bugging me to bits!

Mine has shown "In Production" for the last 3 weeks....
I hope you get your tracking number soon. -
my M17x arrived today and it was in boxing for a few days. My wife says that "boxing" really means "quarantine" to make sure the aliens in the computer are all OK. "A hat? Who would actually wear that dorky thing?"
My theory is that boxing is really the time it takes to ship from China to the Fed-Ex facility in Nashville/Lebanon, TN and get the domestic shipping label slapped on it. The box has the service tag, order #, etc... on a separate label so I can image an easy process to throw the boxes on a line and have a scanner read the info and then slap a shipping label on the box at the other end where it gets directly loaded on a fedex truck. -

Even Stranger...my ship date is delayed 1 day, but EDD was made earlier by 1 day. This would mean only a few hours for the boxing stage. Will let you know.
