It is just so common now that people are getting junk systems, and waiting 2 months for them.

Get with it, Dell. This is bull****.

Looks like we got the same system, except hard drives. What'd you pay?

More than you...I don't understand it...
$1,594.31 not counting the bag I got for it...
And it would have been more if I had just ordered online, my sales rep was able to cut off a little under $150 with a student discount and some rearranging things...

yeah. My hard drive is $100-ish more than yours, too.

I guess it all comes down to when you order. I got mine during the 40% off sale, and had an EPP discount.

    Ah...I see.
I'm not too unhappy with my cost...I think it's still pretty good for what I'm getting...

I've been sitting in the warehouse in boxing for days, probably because I hit boxing oddly earlier than I should of. I guess no one found the heart to throw me on an earlier plane.

    hehe...
I know the worst part of this process for me is always the night it rolls into town...before it goes out to your house.

When I ordered my first lappy and it got to town I went down to the airport (where our fedex (or whatever) gets incoming packages) only to find out they would not get it for me and even though I was within 100 yards of my laptop I would have to wait until the next day...

I tried to ask them if i can pick mine up from Fedex tomorrow and they said that they HAVE to first try and deliver and if they misses you then they will go back to the warehouse and THEN you can pick it up..

Yeah I think the only time they let you pick things up is Saturday morning or after you missed your delivery. FedEx and DHL both list "Saturday Pickup" as part of their overnight services features.
