    I'm hoping my 1530 arrives by tues next week but,
    why does it take so long to put a laptop in a box, mines been in boxing for more than 24 hrs.

    (ordered an xps 1530 on 2/18 been in production since 2/19)

    Mate, they take forever to do everything.
    That online status thing is rubbish, and updated poorly.
    Send them an e-mail, go to online chat, or ring them up and ask for more information.

    It isn't just "putting a computer in a box". The boxing stage consists of Dell boxing your computer, then bringing it to the airport in Malaysia and flying it out to Nashville where the other pieces to your order are placed in the box *IE* Powercable, manuals, cloth, headphones, etc.
