Hey everyone, I'm new to the boards, however I've been lurking the last couple days. Yesterday I ordered my Inspiron 9400 and I can't wait to get it. It will be my first laptop and I real pumped that I can have so much power in such a small package.

So yea, laptop should be arriving about Sept 8, which seems like a ways away, and makes me feel like a kid waiting for christmas day! :)

Here are the specs for anyone interested:

    Intel Core Duo T2500 - 2.0ghz
    2gb 533mhz DDR2 RAM
    120GB 5200rpm HD
    17" WUXGA+ w/ Truelife (My favorite part... 1920x1200... drool :D )
Geforce Go 7900 GS (Second fav part)
    DL DVDRW
The rest is standard for the 9400, so I'm sure you guys are famaliar. Anyways I think this should be a great step up from my current system, which I was gonna upgrade to go dual core, but went with the notebook instead

This is my current "desktop" setup

    Athlon xp 3200+
    1GB DDR dual channel RAM
    300gb HD
    ATI x800xt PE
57" Hitachi WS HDTV (Running at 720p desktop 1080i gaming)
Microsoft Wireless Desktop 6000?? I think

Its a fun setup to use for short periods of time, but sitting in couch to use a computer gets tiresome. So its now gonna strictly be my causual gaming/multimedia/download box

Anyways, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to everyone as I'm sure I'll be around here quite often now.

    Cheers!
