Here I go again. I was trying to work with Dell they sent me replacemnt parts and it was one thing after the other on this laptop kept messing up. First it was the battery then there was a shipping issue with the replacement. Now the hard drive died. Now today the laptop keeps rebooting and there are horizontal lines on the screen every few hours. What are my options. I am still in 21 day window. I don't want a refund I love the machine. Just don't love the quirks. If I contact dell and they don't have a comparable system at the dell outlet (its a refrub) will they give me a brand new machine or will I have to wait until one like mine becomes available in the outlet. Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation   :(

you give then a call, they will have a similar laptop. If not they will have one in the repair department and hold it for you. I have gotten them to do just that

Maybe you could return it and pay the full amount for a new one so you may not get these headaches? Just an option. Also maybe look outside of dell?

what do you mean. The price I paid for the refurb was more than half less than a similarly configured new one. Its a t9300 has bluetooth... media remot control...... it has agn wireless it has everything but i guess u get what u pay for.. why did Dell let it ship with all these faults. the first rep told me to request system exchange now the new rep is trying to send me a replacement LCD...... hard drive..... and battery.....

maybe i will just call my credit card company and get my refund and let them hash it out.. I mean okay they tell me its been 23 days since the order was places.... most stores give you 30 days. What is the real deal here 21 days seems to be an odd number of days for a return. After this fiascal I will NEVER NO NOT EVER PURCHASE A DELL.!!
