Is this normal? Text that have red, green tint, shadows around it. Text is not black. This has nothing to do with clear type. I received my 1520 the other day, plugged it in and the type is purple. Sent it back for a refund.
1505 replaced 2 lcd, 1 motherboard and no luck. Is there a special setup I need. 1505 is xp all my special effects are off as far as shadows is concerned. Drivers are updated. Pissing me off. Please help

I heard this was common on anti-glare screens because effectively, a special coating is applied to the "default" LCD screen via a large metal plate compressing down on it. I guess they press too hard.

So if all antiglare lcd's are like this on all makes and models then they should not have antiglare choice? But then again my 1505 was new in nov 06 and I started to notice the type a few months later. Hmm
