    Hi,

I owe a Inspiron E1505. I used to have Windows Xp and Linux Ubuntu with hard disk partitioned. I did a really stupid thing, I eliminated linux partition with Partition Magic from Windows, and that broke the Grub. So I booted with a DOS disc and entered fdisk /mbr which normally worked with this problem in other computers.

Now i got a bigger problem, which I don't really understand. When I try to boot my computer it just says Loading DRMK Version 8.00 Can't load kernel file. I'm really desperated cause I can't find a way to solve this problem on the internet.

Well that's all, I would appreciate any help!

    Thanks!

You have killed the linux boot manager, which was controlling which operating system you booted into. The error message you have is because the boot manager can no longer find Ubuntu as well as some other files it needs and so it is hanging.

You will need to restore the MBR on the primary partition to get windows to work by itself or re-install the boot loader. and point it at the windows partition again.
