If i was planning on getting a normal i9300 and i was looking at the Intel Wireless cards is there any reason that i should go up to the Bluetooth, or is it just for the bluetooth wireless equiped stuff, a.k.a. the mice, but dont those also come with the usb card if i were to buy those anyways...please help with this too..thanks all

It's just for the bluetooth equipped stuff. The bluetooth devices don't need a usb card though, so you can connect to mice, printers, ect without ever plugging anything in. But if you don't have a need for any of that, you don't need bluetooth. Hope that helps

but i mean like if i were to buy a bluetooth device is it better than a normal wireless device or is it the same thing??

It's pretty much the same. Again though, you don't need to plug anything into your computer. For people with alot of acessories, that is pretty nice. It's up to you whether or not you like pluging a reciever in and using up a usb port for every device you have.
Now, bluetooth is not the EXACT same as regular wireless devices, if that's what you mean. If you want to use the bluetooth, you need to buy a bluetooth product. You can't just buy a regular wireless device and use bluetooth instead of the usb card. You can of course USE a regular wireless item even if you have it, but you will need to plug in the usd adapter too. -
i think they're better because they're supposedly more reliable, but i've been told they drain more energy. I only use bluetooth to send ring tones to my cell phone. I have wireless mice and all that jazz

Bluetooth is just a wireless protocol used to transmit data. It's great for short range communication, like syncing a PDA or phone for instance, or use with accesories like a wireless mouse and keyboard. It's nice to have teh receiver internal, if you add it later it will probably be via a USB dongle, at which point it adds less value.

But Bluetooth devices require power, and could require an electric cord (USB supplies minimal power). Batteries are often poor (not long lasting, lose their abilty to recharge, rechargers often fail with a power surge), and they add weight to the device.
And from what I read on the net, they can't go far from the Bluetooth card. In fact, I have a 25' USB cord that may go farther than Bluetooth. How are you supposed to walk around the house with Bluetooth earphones maybe talking on VoIP? -
Wow you shouldnt speak if you dont know what you are talking about. They dont need a USB cord. They dont consume THAT much power. and my BT mouse can go 40' easy. Cordless.. Stick with your USB, you you USB fanboy ! (hehe)
Ok , when it comes to bluetooth ...
Mice: Good battery life if you get a good mouse. I have owned the MS intellimouse Explorerer for Bluetooth 2.0 and with 2 AAs it lasts about 4 weeks constant use. And now own the Logitech MX 5000 keyboard and mouse for bluetoooth, this mouse is laser, has great refresh rate, and accuracy, and it lasted 3 straight days before it went down to 2 bars of battery ( this one has internal battery, so when you arent using it slap it on the charger. Which is simple easy, and its better than having a corded mouse. Unless you work strictly on a desktop, in that case cordless mice are still fantastic.
Bluetooth Headphones: Waste of money, unless you have extra to blow... Good for a little more than a hour. But the speaker quality is aweful, and they are often a bit on the heavy side.. specially when it is sitting on your head...
Bluetooth technology any good
