Whenever I try to wake my E1705 from standby, the Bluetooth that powers the mouse takes about 15-20 seconds to reconnect. This laptop has the 355 module. I've used the same mouse with a 350 module which initially it had the same problem, but I got around it by not installing the Dell drivers and instead using the default from Windows. I can't do that with this module because Windows has no default drivers, and won't recognize the card.
Does anyone have a solution? Or better yet, is there any way to maintain power to the Bluetooth while the system is in standby?

my gf had the same problem with her Powerbook. It just takes time for the devices to re-pair and recognize. Not much you can do about it.

Yeah but the native Windows driver for the 350 didn't have that problem.

Have you found any solutions? This is really annoying, as it takes around 30 secs to reconnect (my E1505 w/ 355 BT and the V270 BT mouse)... Thanks.

I just installed Vista and the problem is solved! The BT mouse worked in just a few seconds after turning the computer on from standby (Using the Windows BT Stack). Finally!

Ditto da, thank god for small miracles. I then installed the stack from Dell because the MS stack doesn't seem to have A2DP support, and still no problems.

I haven't tried that! It's even better news, since I miss being able to access my cameraphone via bluetooth like any other folder...
