Seems whenever I turn on my bluetooth mouse my wireless internet takes a turn for the worse. Anyone else have similar problems or an explaination as to why this is happening. Its like the bluetooth is interfering with the internet, which doesn't make much sense.

Ive had that happen a lot on my old Inspiron 6400. Now I switched to wireless mouse (non BT) and no more issues.

Both wireless G and BT technology use the 2.4GHz frequency, thus they are prone to interfering with one another; its the same with household cordless phones and other devices that use the same frequency.

You router should have settings that allow you to change the channel. This might help, but I am not sure.

Bluetooth can interfere with 802.11b/g wireless, they are both in 2.4ghz band.
Try changing the channel of your wireless access point.

In my case, changing channels never completely solved the problem..

Alright, well that explains it then. Time to pull out the old wired mouse. I am at work, so no changing of the router settings.
