    Bluetooth for Dell 700m availability

    Hi,

    I just purchased a Dell 700m and I'm looking for a bluetooth adapter (internal, no USB or PCMCIA card).

    There were no options from Dell at the time of purchase for bluetooth, so I am not sure that the 700m is equipped for an internal adapter.

    Does anyone know if an internal card from Dell or 3rd-party manufacturer is compatible?

    there are plenty of USB based bluetooth adapter solutions that will work with any notebook, just go to Amazon and search on "Bluetooth Adapters", if you want a Bluetooth PCMCIA card they're harder to find but available. More available in Europe since Bluetooth is more popular there. I wouldn't go with an internal card for Bluetooth, I'd use an 802.11b/g card for that slot (mini pci) and if you don't have that already I highly recommend it.

    The Dell BlueTooth module is NOT a MiniPCI module; I'd say definitely go with the internal Dell TrueMobile 300 BlueTooth module, around $35 from Dell Spare Parts.

    Thanks for the answer Ofelas. This is what I was looking for.

    However, do you know if the 700m is equipped with a slot for the Dell TrueMobile 300 BlueTooth module?

    I have a friend who has an Inspiron 9100 with the BT module and the slot is located near the battery compartment (this is different from the MiniPCI slot). Is the 700m so-equipped with a similar slot?

    hi can anybody help me find an AC ADAPTOR for new dell inspiron 700M. i checked everywhere on the internet but i coudn't find. Please can anybody help me. dell.com doestn't have it. so please i need a help that would be grateful of any of you THANK YOU
