Does the bluetooth option have anything to do with the noise coming from the headphone jack in the 1520 notebooks?

Is this happening with everyone's notebook? I thought it was only 1 in a few.

I got Vostro 1500 couple of days ago and it has the noise too, even after disabling the bluetooth. I called up Dell support and was told that Wireless Card could be a possible reason... waiting for a fix.

it is the motherboard and the duo core chip causes the interference and dell cut corners on insulation from other components. You can turn wifi/bluetooth off and you will still here it. If you use good headphone it is really bad. Mine is getting sent in for a new motherboard cause they would not send me a expresscard. I can live with the little bit of bleed on the screen, wobbly battery, weak latch, no OS disk, but I use the headphone jack all the time.

Dell is offering me a motherboard replacement but i have requested a replacement.
I am thinking of the following options to minimise the interference noise issue. (Well, looking at the threads on this problem, i dont think they got a cure). 1. Upgrade wireless card to Intel Wifi 4965 AGN
    2. Get a bluetooth wireless headset.

    Any suggestions ?????
