I understand that these parts are readily available for those in the US but I am having trouble trying to locate this part on the UK site. Could someone shed some light on the matter? Is it strictly a Dell component? how much is it?

I know that I could buy a USB adaptor but.....seeing that bluetooth symbol not lit up in....erm....blue does my head in. Also, an adaptor is a bit awkward whilst using the laptop on the go; it could snap off and that would be seriously un-cool.

Thanks to those who can help me and those who showed an interest in the matter.

    Much Love

Try ebay. You can get it for around £15-£20. I'm currently using the 350 module from my old inspiron 6000 which also works with the inspiron and vostro. The latest inspiron and vostro uses the dell 355 module.

Both of these are similar the only difference being the bluetooth protocol they use. 350 = toshiba, 355 = wiscomm. Functionally, they are identical.
