What is they keyboard shortcut to turn on/off the bluetooth? Is there one? I Just installed a Bluetooth 355 into my notebook, very easy to install. It works great, but I hate to leave it on and waste battery life. Any way to turn it off using hardware w/o turning off the WiFi?

    Try fn+F2.

If not, look in Quickset and see if you can find the advanced wireless shortcut settings.

or try your bios and see if there is an option for what the hardware switch controls....it may allow you to have only one or the other controlled by the switch as my E1705 did.

(edit) After I put that I realized it is hardware so this may not be an option but you can try.

(edit) It does in fact work you can set up several configurations for the switch.

QuickSet allows you to use the switch at the left of the computer to toggle on and off the various radios in the system. Unfortunately, if you set it to toggle BT only, you won't be able to use it to turn on and off Wifi.
