    Hi,

My laptop is Dell Studio 1558 running Windows 7 64bit

I noticed this problem today when I went to connect my phone to the laptop, problem is I'm not sure how long it has been like that, which means I'm not sure what changes could have caused it.

The adaptor doesn't show up in device manager, I've redownloaded the drivers, when I try to install them it says a newer version is already installed of Wincomm Bluetooth Software is already installed.

I cannot find this anywhere on the laptop, I've also looked through the drivers installed using a program and can't see them anywhere either.

Does anybody have any advice on what I can do?

    Cheers for any help,

    Chris.

when I use a program to view the drivers I can't find them, so I'm not sure if I do.

My bluetooth icon has disappeared from the system tray, and when I search for bluetooth and try to ruin it nothing happens.

When I try and run the program nothing happens,

To enable and disable my bluetooth there was an icon in the system tray but this has now disappeared.

Run the "BTTray.exe" in some folder in "Program Files (X86)" to get the bluetooth icon back. Then enable the bluetooth. I will let you know the exact path after I go home.
