I just got an e1505, reformatted and now I've got a slight annoyance. Say I'm working on the laptop, urgently need to get up and do something else... so I close the screen. The lappy does not like this and gives me the BSOD everytime I do it. What's the problem?

    What do u mean?

Everytime you close the Lid of the laptop, the lappy goes to BSOD???

I have the same problem with my e1705 , i'm returning it for repair tomorrow.

Dell call service doesnt help. U should write them an email report the problem along with a screen shot of HOW the blue screen looks like.

lol dude. i don't think you can screen shot a blue screen.

in fact, i'm positive you can't.

especially since all your running apps are rendered useless, and there's no way to do a print screen to paint, since you can't open paint again.

and unfortunately i think a lot of laptops have wake from sleep errors...

take a picture with a digital camera when it happens, that is the only way to get a screen shot...

    good luck!!!!
