THIS IS WHAT I'M GETTING WHEN I'M TRYING TO INSTALL WINDOWS ON MY LAPTOP.
MY LAPTOP JUST HAD A NEW HARD DISK DRIVE INSTALLED ON IT SO, IT HAS NO OS INSTALLED ON IT AS OF NOW. I'VE TRIED INSTALLING WINDOWS 7 AND EVEN XP BUT NO LUCK. PLEASE HELP ME TO GET THIS FIXED!! I HAVE GOT SOME IMPORTANT ASSIGNMENTS TO BE DONE.

Have you formated the hdd before installing?
Have you tried changing to ide in bios prior to installing? -

Looks like hard drive issue that comes with device drivers. Do a clean reinstall of the OS, just to be 100% sure.
