I had my Dell M1210 laptop for about 5 months without any major pboblem. A couple days ago, Window blue stop screen shut down the computer evertytime when I tried to turn on the computer. The screen says "A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer". The bottom of the screen shows this Technical Information: Stop: OX0000007E (OXC0000005, OX00000000, OXF79F97D0, OXF79F94CC).

I can start the computer in Safe Mode, but can't use the computer in normal mode. Do anybody know how to correct the problems? Thank your for your help in advance.

Thank you for the links. I will read thru the resolution methods to find out if it relates to my situation.

OS on my M1210 is Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. It was originally installed on my computer when I got it from Dell. I haven't done any upgrade on the OS since Day 1.

Dell had me run the hardware diag. nothin. Then they told me to go back to XP from VISTA, If you have XP and have the same trouble as me then I doubt I have a VISTA upgrade problem.
