    Blu ray drive 1530 separate ?

    Anyone know if i can buy the blue ray drive separate from dell and fit it into my 1530 when i get it.
    I bought the lappy at the right money from outlet. Had everything i wanted part from this drive

    I don't know whether you can order it from Dell, but I know that you can certainly find internal notebook Blu Ray drives on the net elsewhere.
    It will be a self-install job though, so best to take it to someone who knows what they're doing just in case you don't feel comfortable doing it.

    I think you'll find that buying the drive yourself also saves you some money. Dell's upgrades tend to be more expensive.

    EDIT: A quick addendum, it's going to be harder to find the slot-loading drives than the tray loading drives. I found that.
