    Hi All,

If this question has already been posted I apologise in advance, I just can't find the answer.

I recently purchased a Studio 1737 for OH as he has been offered work doing karaoke. What I need to know is if I get the correct VGA to TV converter lead to go into an ordinary TV will this work, or do I have to buy the VGA to AV S-Video TV box to convert as my local computer shop states (they do not sell Dell by the way hence I went elsewhere, although they are not happy) costing a bomb.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

If your TV has S-video input, then just use a VGA to S-video adapter. Same thing with RCA (red/white/yellow) cables; just get a VGA to yellow RCA video adapter. If it's an HDTV, an HDMI cable would be ideal since the 1737 supports HDMI output as well, and it would result in the highest image quality.

VGA to Component color coded (easier on blondes)

remember NO AUDIO this is for video only.

if you want Audio and via you need an HDMI cable

or the lower quality VGA to S-Video (again video only)

and you can hook up Audio speaker via the 2 3.5mm headphone jacks on the right side of the 1737.

    Thanks for your help.

Are you saying Ice Cold that the VGA to S-Video will not have any sound? Now this is getting me even more confused since we are even having problems tuning our Philips TV in.
