    Hi guys.

Finally got my Vostro 1400 after dell taking just under a month to deliver it.
Not too impressed with the vertical viewing angles due to the light but it was to be expected.

I purchased the high resolution screen, and my problem is any large ammount of red seems to look textured on my screen, like there are subtle horizontal lines going through it. I am a web deveoloper and this is very off putting for when i am trying to design a site.

Is anyone else experiencing this with this model?
    Is there a solution?

    Cheers,
    Simon.

Is it possible to post a picture so we can understand what we're dealing with, do you have a 8400M as this maybe a problem known as "Artifacts" which is a common problem when a dedicated GPU overheats; when you see this - is the fan spinning fully with hot or cold air?
