I'm getting my M1530 delivered next week and I'm curious what programs are preinstalled. Is it worth reformating?

Hey flamenko, im new here and i got my XPS 1530 a week ago, and i've noticed that its performance is really slow + i see that (from other posts as well) that there are a lot of unused programs and bloatware installed. i was looking at your remove bloatware guide, but i really don't know if i am able to complete the task, as i do not know much about this.

The bloatware guide is very simple and has received rave reviews from many beginners who werent sure. You just need to follow the directions EXACTLY.

The best part is if you have a problem, just come here and someone will jump in to help real quick.

I also recommend a complete system backup if you have ista Ultimate or create a backup boot set with Acronis Disk Image Trial version. The backup has no time restrictions and u can just plop it in to get your system as it was when you bought it.
