Just recently when I unplug my ac adaptor from the computer the computer stops blinking and the only way to make it stop is by plugging it back in. I do not know if it is XP or if something is wrong with the hardware. If you need more info just tell me so I can get this problem solved.

Exactly what does "the computer stops blinking" mean? I don't have anything on my Dell laptop that blinks when the AC adapter is plugged in.

The screen blinks constantly, flickers I guess would be a better word. It happens only when I take the ac adaptor off

What model Dell do you own? Have you installed anything recently (new programs, new drivers, etc)? Have you recently reformatted your computer?
