    Black Screen On Boot Up??????

    Hey everyone, my gf has the Inspiron 6000. She bought it about one year ago, and has told me recently that about 2-3 times within the past year, when she boots it up, the screen goes totally black. She then restarts the computer manually, and it loads up fine.

    Is this normal? Has anyone else had any similar experiences?
