    Bioshock demo doesnt run on 1520, help!

    I got 256mb 8600gt

    The game loads, and it shows me that movie in the beggining, then i get a black screen?

    Help please

    If you don't update your drivers with laptopvideo2go, the game won't run. You're also not going to get as good performance in other games, so it's a really good idea.

    try the 163.69 drivers too, but make sure ya have this patch from MSFT, nVidia even points ya to it, and says install it first-it's for games in Vista (the link is in my sig too)-

    WHen i try to install driver it gives error that its not supported???

    yup, read the faq's on their site- but basically, Dell modifies the nVidia driver to it's own internal specs, so the Nvidia driver won't install, ya need to dload the driver package from ltv2g,and also the modded .inf. Unzip the driver package and replace the .inf in it with the modded one ya dloaded . then just run setup.exe out of that folder.

    try adding "-dx9" to the launch option for bio shock. It worked for me.

    I have the same problem, but after following all of the advice given thusfar, the NVIDIA installer gives me the error that I am not running Windows Vista [32 bit], even though I definitely am. (In control panel it says: Windows Edition: Windows Vista™ Home Premium / System Type: 32-bit Operating System.) What kind of error is this?
