As you know, the multimedia key in F array can be changed the priority in Bios. In default bios, the multimedia key is the main key, while F arrray like f1, f2.... have to be pressed simultaneously with Function key. And I changed the default bios because I use F arrray usually.
But everytime I change laptop power from battery to adapter or adapter to battery and restart the laptop, the Bios is reset to the default.
Iupdated the lastest bios A08 and driver of the devices.

Is there anyone facing the same problem? I'm looking forward to your helps! Thanks in advance!

Sounds like your CMOS battery might be dead. Pop off the bottom panel of your 1555, and take out the small silver circular battery, and replace it.

But I have bought it for 2 days :D
And the vendor sticks the warranty stamp on the panel.

Is it a brand new system or refurbished? If it's new, then I agree, that's pretty weird. But if it's a refurb, then it may be old enough for the battery to have died.

And where the hell did you buy this from? Dell does not put warranty stickers of any kind on their laptops, certainly not on the one panel you have to open to do anything.

It's trully a brandnew, I'm sure, but I bought from a retailer, not directly from Dell. I'm from Vietnam, and somebody faces this problem like me, and they still don't know the solution.

Well, if your vendor won't let you take off the bottom panel (which is absurd, really), then take it back to them and have them replace your CMOS battery.

So you are sure that the problem is due to to CMOS batter, aren't you?
Notice that the BIOS resets only when I change the power from battery to adapter or contrastly.

    Hi,

I can confirm this weird behavior, it happened with my 1555 too, ordered directly from Dell. I hope that a newer BIOS can fix this.
