Well, a bigger harddrive is always better, but the same can't be said of the screen. Some people actually prefer the less expensive screen option because they think that text is too small on wuxga or higher resolution screens.

That being said, harddrive is very easy to replace later if you feel the need, whereas the screen isn't.

IMO - better screen, since that can't be easily replaced aftermarket. Hard drives get better every year, so you would probably upgrade that anyhow

I would get the screen because I second what "quiong" said about it. You can replace a harddrive down the line A LOT easier then replacing a screen down the line and probaly cheaper. I would say go for the screen then slowly save up for either a Larger HD or an external HD.

Good decision, I had a similar pardicament, more ram or more HD space. I went with more ram because its easier to upgrade the HD later on and in the meantime ill have a faster running machine versus a slower running one able to hold more data.

I would get WSXGA+, WUXGA is very small. Make sure you see one before you purchase it.

You can always use HD space.

I'd go WUXGA, I have WUXGA on my 15.4" laptop and ithink its perfect, its gonna suck when I move to a desktop in a couple years cause I'll need to get at least a 24" LCD to get the same resolution... but its worth it
