    Better products offered sooner outside of U.S.

    Why is it that better Dell products are offered in other countries before they are eventually offered in the United States.

    India, Singapore Dell sites have better configurations for the Studio 14 than the U.S. site does and which are actually available for order.

    Such as choice in cpu (i5-540), video card (ATI 5XXX), etc.

    Just speculation here: the laptops are made outside of the country. I think there's a plant in Malaysia. Countries closer to the place of manufacture will get releases and updates before us.
