just curious what you all think.
Vista just seems to bog down my 80gb 5400 drive. it just seems like its always chuggin along to get things done.
if i buy a larger, and faster 7200rpm HD, will i notice much difference? I know laptop drives are just slower, but YIKE

I only buy 7200 RPM drives for my laptop It's a shame that you missed the 160 gig 7200 rpm drive from dell for $106
-
yea. infact...the harddrive in my sig not only makes things alot faster, it creates less heat and uses less power than its 5400rpm counterpart. =)

I think 7200 RPM is better for everything on a laptop. I always regretted getting a 5400 RPM drive on my old laptop, even under XP.
Better Vista Experience with 7200RPM?
