Is this going to become an option in the near future or not?

I am basically wondering why there is no go7600 or x1600 option in the E1505 or E1705?

Is Dell working on adding these as options, or is it just not going to happen?

I've been wondering the same thing... with the Compal HEL80 presumably being the basis for the 1505 why is there no X1600 option? perhaps its cooling system may be a tad bit inadequate for a heavier duty card.

    My guess is no.

With Dell's coupons the E1505 is already a bargain, add the most powerful GPU for a 15.4" in there and it'd probably turn to a loss for them.

Same here. I was waiting for something stronger then G72. :( I guess we'll all have to wait and see if Dell is going to offer stronger GPU.

Check out driver updates on the Dell site. Under the new bios update it shows added support for Nvidia go 7300. I don't know anything about this video card. Maybe somebody out there can give us some info.

I am not seeing how it is a loss when you can already get a 15.4 notebook with a GO7600 or a X1600 for the same price.
