Here's what you need to know about buying an XPS 15 or XPS 17:
    - Coupon code: 932N$0ZCCHWZB9 takes off $100
    - You must upgrade to the 1920x1080 (1080p / FHD) display if buying an XPS. It is wasting your money if you buy an XPS 15 with the 1366x768 display or an XPS 17 with the 900p display. The multi-touch screens are junk too.
    - You also have the option of buying refurbs from the Dell Outlet, and as mentioned above there are coupon codes. Make sure if you buy an XPS from the Dell Outlet, that it has the good screen. This especially applies to the XPS 15, the 1366x768 display is terrible.

Here's what you need to know about buying an Inspiron.
    - If it costs more than $600, don't buy it. There are better options out there.

    About buying a Latitude E5420/E5520/E6420/E6520
    - Make sure you upgrade to the 1600x900 or 1920x1080 display, don't get the 1366x768
    - The Dell Outlet is an option too.

    M4600/M6600:
    - Get the 1920x1080 display
    - Coupon codes are probably available but I'm not sure.
    - Have not seen any in the Outlet.

You can talk with a sales agent on the phone about "unpublished" discounts. Again sometimes they may have a configuration not listed on the site, or sometimes a custom one that is far cheaper listed on the site. It also helps to say I was looking at rivals as well and if you are truly ready to buy on the spot, it helps.
