    I am in the process of making up a Christmas list and I was wondering what is the best card I can get to replace my 8400. [Somewhat reasonable price tag maybe? I already have a few $400 and $300 items on there.

    The only other card offered for this notebook is the 8600M GT, and it should be from Dell since they use proprietary format.
