What are the best drivers performance wise?
Mainly playing games like CSS, TF2 and assasins creed.

Also is it possible to point me to the thread where i can overclock my 8600GT?

    Thank you very much.

That was a pretty jerk move. You could have searched yourself. You know what happens when everyone says 'use the search'? You end up with 500,000 posts saying use the search and one actual thread on the discussion which gets burried. I know, because I run a board.

    To the OP.

I could have, but chose to make a point.

Personally I think it was a pretty jerk move of yours to baby feed the OP by searching yourself and offering the results. You know what happens then? you end up with 1,000,000 posts saying can somebody point to the thread where .... is?

And by all means please tell me which board do you run, to make sure I never subscribe to it.

I use 169.09, and these are the best since they don't have the 'choppy' graphics problem that I got with the 174.xx ones, yet give good performance and work with ntune to allow overclocking.

174.74 are the fastest but they may cause choppy(mp3s only) audio, I got 4638 3dmarks with them.

I just switched to 174.74 and on Gears of War this made a big difference. I used to get some stuttering on it but now it's like buttah. ;) Don't know about stuttering on MP3s as I don't use my laptop for audio.
